The Perenjori project is comprised of five exploration licenses (E70/6524, E70/6525, E70/6526, E70/6527 and E70/6591).
The E70/6591 license contains the Rocky Ridge Prospect that has a continuous strike length of over 6km of anomalous gold hosted in granulite within an arcuate magnetic belt. Multiple historical drill programs have been completed over the prospect and a best intersection of 7m at 2.52 g/t has been achieved.
Aeromagnetic imagery indicates several highly prospective targets including flexures and late intrusions with possible faulted contacts that could host gold mineralisation of a similar style to the Rocky Ridge Prospect. Historical sampling has also discovered anomalous gold geochemistry in the central north of the project, coincident with a paleo-drainage. Bedrock geology in the Project area is largely obscured by laterite or shallow sandy soils.
An exploration strategy for the newly acquired Rocky Ridge Prospect is being developed and there is good potential for strike extensions below transported cover. Enegex have completed several reconnaissance style soil sampling programs in other parts of the project. Exploration will continue to infill the widely spaced historical roadside traverses to a density more suited to the targeted deposit styles.
